Problem: After a recent change in leadership the SFCVB faced a profound shift in organizational structure and culture. Along with increasing competition from other destinations, the SFCVB needed to completely overhaul its strategic approach to carrying out its mission. Results: As a result of the comprehensive analysis and planning work, the SFCVB now has a strategic goal plus a common vision for how they’ll achieve it. Improved internal communications gave a framework for shared knowledge and bolstered performance.
