Case Studies << GO BACKStrategic Planning, Fundraising Strategy & Message Development Clínica Verde Client Profile: Clínica Verde, meaning “Green Clinic,” is a nonprofit charitable organization formed to build and assist sustainable health clinics that improve maternal and infant healthcare, beginning in Nicaragua. Problem: The leadership of Clínica Verde realized, rightly so, that in order to sustain their efforts long term and achieve their goals, they would need to direct their attention to developing an actionable plan, devising a fundraising strategy, and creating a strong message. Solution: NewLevel Group planned and facilitated three 2-hour sessions with a subcommittee of the board to provide advice, direction, and review of fundraising strategies and the critical components of a business plan. Once a plan was developed, NLG worked with Clínica Verde to clearly articulate its mission – “Building a new model of care for families in need “-- for inclusion in an effective fundraising collateral kit. Results: As a result of the planning and communications work, Clínica Verde now has a plan, a message, and a kit to further their cause. Their board members have the tools they need to approach and educate potential donors. Since completing their work with NLG, Clínica Verde has increased their outreach, recruited new board members, and received additional funding.
